Recycling Is The Future

Reduce, Reuse & Recycle

Recycling prevents the emissions of many greenhouse gases and water pollutants, and save energy. Using recovered material generates less solid waste. Recycling helps to reduce the pollution caused by the extraction and processing of virgin materials.

Products have a second life: after their initial use, we must regard them as a valuable resource. Waste should be recycled, not dumped in landfills or otherwise disposed of ion nature. In the long term, end-of-life products and unavoidable waster are likely to become the main alternative raw materials for the plastics industry. But in order to make greater use of these sustainable resources, waste management systems must be significantly improved and redesigned.

Bordeaux Puente, Mexico City

The Bordeaux Puente Dump was once the biggest dump in Latin America. Located in Mexico City, the dump reached its lifetime capacity and closed in 2011 but when it was operational the Bordeaux Puente was receiving a staggering 12,000 to 15,000 tons of waste every day.

Plastic makes the things we love, and makes life more livable. It's a resource too valuable to waste. That's why we're developing innovative solutions to advance recovery, recycling and reuse efforts. We're working to address climate change, to change industry practices, and realize a cleaner, safer and more sustainable future for everyone.

The Spirituality of the Earth

The spirituality of the earth refers to a quality of the earth itself, not a human spirituality with special reference to the planet Earth. Earth is the maternal principle out of which we are born and from which we derive all that we are and all that we have. We come into being in and through the earth.
